Actress Anjali in family trouble again!
Actress Anjali moved a petition in the Chennai High Court against her aunt Bharati Devi and uncle Haribabu, on Wednesday. In the petition, Anjali accused them of mental torture. The actress of 'Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' requested the court to provide security for her and take action against them.
After hearing the petition, the Madras High Court directed the police to investigate and take proper action against them.
Interestingly, the actress who was previously accused in a number of cases, under the pretext of being busy, would rarely make an appearance in the court to defend her case.
This is not the first time that Anjali has made these allegations against her aunt. Sometime back she had alleged that she faced a threat from Bharathi and director-mentor Kalanjiyam and that they used her like an ATM, and looted her assets.
In retaliation, Anjali's aunt has filed a petition at the Chennai family court asking Anjali to pay a maintenance charge of Rs 50,000 every month. In her petition Bharathi added that she had spent Rs 70 Lakhs on Anjali and now that the latter is living away from her and is earning, she should pay Rs 50,000 per month.
