Actress Accuses Producer Of Sexual Harassement

Mumbai: 'Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai' actress Shilpa Shinde alleged that the show producer was harassing her sexually. She filed a complaint with the police against producer Sanjay Kohli.

Shilpa said that she has faced mental torture on the sets of the serial as the producer often tried to take advantage. "He even touched me inappropriately. When I objected, he threatened that he will throw me out of the show," she said.

Last year, she quit from the show abruptly alleging that the producer was harassing her. Then the producer sued her for Rs 12.5 crore for breaking the contract.

She even complained that the producer often used to come into her make-up room and asked for sexual gratification if she wanted to continue in the show. When the producer came to know that her make-up man watched the whole incident, he fired the latter.

When the producer was asked about Shilpa's complaint, "These are false statements, I did nothing wrong," he said defending himself.
