ACB serves notice on TDP leader Vem Narender Reddy

After day-long parleys and discussions, the Telangana Government made some swift moves in the Cash for Votes scam.

After pasting notices on Sattupally MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah's door, the ACB sleuths served a notice on TDP candidate in the recent MLC elections Vem Narender Reddy.

The sleuths served the notice at his residence in Hyderguda MLA quarters on Tuesday night. Sources said the TDP leader could be taken into custody. Meanwhile, a defiant Sandra Venkata Veeraiah said there was no question of his going underground or evading arrest. "I will face them. I will not be cowed down by the ACB,"he said. 

In another development, a team of Union Home MInistry officials will reach Hyderabad on Wednesday to discuss Section 8 and other outstanding issues between the two Telugu states.
