ACB raids CRDA official’s house, properties - Sakshi Post

Visakhapatnam: ACB officials on Tuesday raided CRDA Town Planning section officer Rehman's house.The officials also simultaneously conducted raids at his relatives house located at Vijayawada and Kurnool.

The officials carried out the raid following a tip-off that the accused has amassed wealth disproportionate to his known source of income. The raid was conducted at 11 places in toto.

The ACB officials said that Rehman registered all the illegal assets on his son’s name Abdullah. Rehman, they alleged, had a real estate business registered in his son’s name. According to official estimate, Rehman has acquired properties worth Rs 1.60 crore illegally.

The officials also seized Rs 4.46 lakh in cash, foreign currency and gold jewellery from his house during the raid.

Following are the list of illegal assets noted by ACB officials:

·        Apartment which is under construction at  Daspalla Hills Layout in Vizag

·        Owning 70 cents of land in the near to capital area Tulluru

·        Owning apartment between Guntur and Ponnur road

·        A house at Guntur and Kurnool
