Assets worth about Rs 2.25 crore allegedly amassed by a veterinary assistant were unearthed by ACB in Medak district of Telangana.

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday unearthed assets worth about Rs 2.25 crore allegedly amassed by a veterinary assistant in Medak district of Telangana.

A case of disproportionate assets was registered against G Venkateshwar Reddy, veterinary assistant at veterinary dispensary in Kistareddypet of Medak district and simultaneous searches were conducted at the office, residences of Reddy and his relatives at Gachibowli and Miyapur here, an ACB release said. During the searches, one duplex house, seven open plots, one car, one locker at a bank with diamond jewellery worth Rs 11 lakh were found.

The market value of the properties is about Rs 2.25 crore, the ACB said adding that Reddy will be arrested.
