ABVP sweeps Delhi Univ polls
The RSS-BJP backed Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Saturday swept the Delhi University students union elections.
The ABVP bagged all the four posts - president, vice-president, secretary and joint secretary with a huge margins.
While over a lakh students formed the vote base in Delhi University. DU elections are important as both the Congress and the BJP get locked in a show down. In the last election, the ABVP had bagged the post of president, vice president and joint secretary, while the NSUI won the post of secretary.
