Abhishek Nagar petitions the President on Smriti Irani - Sakshi Post

Agra: Abhishek Nagar, the son of the deceased Ramesh Nagar has written to the President about the accident that took place on the Yamuna Expressway, last Saturday in which the union HRD minister's convoy hit his father Dr. Ramesh Nagar's motorbike from behind, resulting in his death and hurting two others.

Abhishek stated in the letter that though he had approached the Mathura police with the registration number of the vehicle in the convoy, the police had refused to register a case. Abhishek petitioned the President to see that justice is done to them.

Abhishek revealed the details of the accident in the letter along with the particulars of the vehicle number. He stated in his letter that his father Dr. Ramesh Nagar was enroute to a wedding in Agra on Saturday evening when a vehicle from Smriti Irani's convoy bearing registration number, (DL 3C BA 5315) hit his motorbike from behind. His father had lost his life in the accident and two of his children Sandhali (12) and Pankaj (9) were hurt.

Abhishek also stated that the driver had fled from the spot and though the union minister Smriti Irani got out of her car and saw the children who were hurt, she denied them any help and went on her way.
