Pilgrims must carry Aadhaar card to Tirumala to perfrom circumambulation

Tirupati: The pilgrims who wish to perform circumambulation (Anga Pradakshina) of the temple in Tirumala must show their Aadhaar card.

At a review meeting on Tuesday, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) executive officer D Sambasiva Rao directed the officials to strictly enforce the Aadhaar norm who want to perform circumambulation.
The officer also said that 1,000 shelf shoe rack will be set up at Seva Sadan complex in APSRTC bus stand and at MTVAC in Tirumala and told the concerned officials to verify the stocks of gold, silver and copper on regular basis.

The meeting was held at Annamaiah Bhavan.
