9 month old girl abducted, 4 arrested

Hyderabad: A nine month old baby girl was abducted by a group of four  in the wee hours on August 1 from Hyderabad Government hospital

Four persons including a woman were arrested from Kurnool district. Divya Joythi, Ravi, Kalyan and Sanjeevaiah were arrested  and rescued  baby Kavya from Alugonda village of Veldurthy mandal in Kurnool district, police said. On the intervening night of July 31 and August 1, the four accused had kidnapped Kavya from her mother B Renuka while the latter was asleep in the visitors shed of the hospital and fled to Kurnool, a release from Hyderabad Police said. The woman lodged a complaint after which a case was booked by Chilkalguda police and subsequently the accused were arrested, it said.
