8 killed in separate road mishaps
Eight persons were killed in separate accidents in the wee hours of Wednesday.
Six persons were killed and four others were injured when a lorry rammed their auto in Anantapur district.
According to reports, the incident occurred at in Gorantla mandal. The deceased belonged to Pedaballi mandal of Puttaparti mandal. At around 5.30 am, they were on their way to Bhagepalli market in Karnataka when a Tadpatri-bound lorry rammed their auto.
In another accident, two persons were killed when the car in which they were traveling hit a lorry that was stopped near Kamaravelli gate of Kondapaka mandal of Medak district.
The bodies were shifted to a government hospital in Siddipet for postmortem. The details of the deceased yet to be known.
