79th convocation of Osmania University on Feb 7

The 79th convocation of Osmania University (OU) will be held at the varsity's auditorium here on February 7. On the occasion, degrees and diplomas will be conferred on the successful candidates who appeared in the examinations conducted between July 2009 and June 2012, OU Vice-Chancellor S Satyanarayana told reporters.
Nearly 300 PhDs and 86 gold medals will be awarded at the convocation, he said. Andhra Pradesh Governor E S L Narasimhan, who is also Chancellor of OU, will preside over the function.
