An Innova car crashed into a stationary lorry off the highway near NTR Nagar in Nellore on Sunday; 4 passengers died on the spot
Nellore: In three separate road accidents, six people died in Nellore district on Sunday.
In a major accident, an Innova crashed into a stationary lorry off the highway at NTR Nagar, killing four traveling in the car on the spot. The family belonging to Venkannapalem in TP Guduru were traveling to Velankani in Tamil Nadu. The family members arrived after being informed and police shifted the bodies to hospital for post-mortem.
In another incident, a private travels bus from Karnataka rammed into a running bike from the rear at Shantinagar killing the pillion-rider on the spot. The rider sustained serious injuries and was undergoing treatment at a hospital. Angered by the incident, the locals set the bus afire and it was reduced to ashes. The condition of the injured is also stated to be critical.
A car and bike crashed into each other at Siripuram road near Kavali. The biker died on the spot.
