52 Infants Die In Jamshedpur Government Hospital, Doctors Blame Malnutrition

Jharkhand: In yet another incident after Gorakhpur tragedy, at least 52 infants died in the last 30 days in Jharkhand’s government-run Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College hospital in Jamshedpur.

Speaking on the issue, Superintendent of MGM hospital said that the reason behind the deaths was malnutrition.

Earlier this week, around 30 children died due to disruption of oxygen at BRD hospital in Gorakhpur. Further details are awaited.
