5 Women Dead as Auto Collides with Bus

Adilabad: Five women traveling in an auto died on the spot when an RTC bus hit the vehicle head on near Bejjuru in Adilabad district on Sunday.Three of the deceased were identified as students - Lavanya, Chowdary Lakshmi, Chowdary Parvati - and other two Seelam Suguna and Dobhi Pushpa. The auto was going from Bejjuru to Penchikalpet. The auto driver escaped unhurt and the bus driver fled the scene. The accident occurred when the auto driver was trying to overtake another auto.
