5 Arrested For Yoga Teacher’s Murder
Visakhapatnam: Police, on Friday, arrested 5 people for the murder of yoga teacher Polamarasetty Venkata Ramana.
Prime accused in the murder case was identified as Kilaparthi Venkata Ramana and his son K Eswar Rao, police said. Professional rivalry between Eswar Rao and Polamarasetty was the cause of the murder, senior police officials said. "Eswar Rao and Polamarasetty ran separate yoga training centers in Vietnam.

However, Polamarasetty returned to India to renew his travel documents. At this time Kilaparthi decided to eliminate him and hired a gang for a sum of Rs 1.5 lakh. However, after the murder, Kilaparthi failed to pay the agreed upon amount. The hired gang members thrashed him on Sunday last," the Airport Zone police said. "While investigating the thrashing of Kilaparthi by unidentified people, details of the planned murder of Polamarasetty came to light," police said.
Police arrested the hired gang members and identified them as G Ajay Kumar, Vykunta Rao, Dhanunjay, Anil Kumar and Prasad, all residents of Burma Colony and Kancharapalem areas of the city.
