4 Held For Duping 200 Job Seekers

Hyderabad: Four persons, including a woman were arrested here on Thursday for cheating about 200 unemployed youths by promising them jobs in the e-commerce business and collecting money from them.

They have cheated about 200 people and collected Rs 2 crore or 3 crore from them by making false promise to provide a job

The arrested accused were identified as Sreenath Konda, Prasanna Kumar Reddy, B Dhan Raj and Kanchana Vobbilichetty.
They operated through the websites www.qnet.et and www.qnetindia.in, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Detective Department) Avinash Mohanty said in a statement.

The accused conducted seminars and lured gullible youths into investing in the company named Q-Net by promising them jobs.

“They have cheated about 200 people and collected Rs 2 crore or 3 crore from them by making false promise to provide a job,” Mohanty said.

Managing Director and other directors of Q-Net Limited, and Vihaan Direct Selling (India) Private Limited and some others are wanted in this case, he added.
