4.5 kgs gold seized from Woman at Shamshabad Airport

Customs officials on Thursday seized 4.5 kgs of gold from a woman at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad.
According to airport officials, the woman was travelling from Bangkok to Hyderabad. She had tied the gold biscuits as a belt around her waist.
The woman has been identified as Sushila, a native of Kadapa district in Andhra Pradesh.
She was taken into custody and an investigation is on.
