33% TDP MPs have criminal charges against them : Survey

Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu, in one his many speeches promising transparent governance, had said that he would strive to make Andhra free of politicians with criminal charges. Those very words have come back to bite Chandrababu, the worst possible time.

According to survey conducted by Aamir Khan's Satyamev Jayate on "the presence of politicians with criminal charge", it was found out that TDP had 33 per cent of MPs with criminal charges.  On the other hand, MIM and TRS had 100 per cent and 50 per cent respectively. 

The survey backed with research and data says that out of 543 Lok Sabha MPs and 4032 MLAs, 30%  and 31%  have criminal cases pending against them respectively.
