30 Students Raped At Tuition Centers In Tamil Nadu

Chennai: Three people were arrested on Thursday for sexually molesting 30 girl students at tuition centers. The accused intoxicated the victims and then sexually assaulted them.

The incident took place in palakkoduku village in Dharmapuri Mandal in Tamil Nadu.The accused are Shivakumar (25), Eshwaran and Shival.

The accused has been running tuition centers from the past four years and is attended by over 100 students studying in Class 10 and Intermediate

Police said that Shivakumar, who runs the tuition centers, did the heinous act along with his friends.

“He made the victims stay back on the name of special classes and laced their drink. After the girl fell unconscious he did the bestial act and did video recording too,” said a police official, adding that, in the past two years nearly 30 students have been victims.

The accused has been running tuition centers from the past four years and is attended by over 100 students studying in Class 10 and Intermediate.
