3 People Burnt Alive As Car Catches Fire In Mahabalipuram

Tamil Nadu: Three people including a woman were burnt to death after the car they were on erupted in fire near Mahabalipuram on Saturday.

The incident took place around 8 pm on East Coast Road, near Manama village in Chennai. All the three persons in the car were burnt alive. Fire brigade rushed to the spot soon and doused the fire. Charred bodies of the victims were removed by the firemen. The identities of the deceased and the reason of fire were still not known. Passersby told the police that the car was parked few minutes before the incident.

The police registered a case and further details are awaited.
