3 Including MPTC Member Killed In Car Accident 

Hyderabad: The member of Singarakondapalem MPTC in Prakasham district Srikanth and two of his associates died when their car rammed into a stationary lorry at Gumpula Tirumalagiri in Chivvemla mandal in Suryapet district in the wee hours on Monday.

The victims were returning home after watching the IPL match in Hyderabad on Sunday. It was a Hyderabad Sunrisers Vs Kolkata Knight Riders in which the former scored an impressive victory and the match was over late in the night - at around 11.30pm.

The victims belonged to Addanki in Prakasham district of Andhra Pradesh.

When the vehicle rammed into the lorry in the rear side, the front portion of the car (AP27 BF 4453) was completely damaged killing all the three occupants including the driver on the spot. The cause of accident is believed to be the driver's drowsy condition as it was well over midnight and they were driving continuously for hours after a heavy dinner.
