25 Killed In Bangladesh Landslides 

Dhaka: At least 25 people were killed in landslides triggered due to heavy rain in Bangladesh on Tuesday.

Influenced by a depression in the Bay of Bengal, rains have lashed three hill districts of Chittagong, Cox's Bazaar and Bandarban since Monday. "The military, police and the fire service personnel have joined rescue efforts since early Tuesday morning," an official in Chittagong said. Dhaka's flood forecasting centre said the water-level in all the major rivers is rising, while some were already flowing over the danger mark.
