25,000 acres needed for capital : Narayana
Andhra Pradesh Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development P. Narayana said that an area of 25,000 acres is needed to build the capital of Andhra Pradesh,
Speaking to reporters in New Delhi on Friday, he said the Government has two proposals for land acquisition.
“We will acquire private land and the land owners will be given a share in the developed land later. The land acquisition will be done keeping in view the needs that could arise in the next 100 years,” said the minister.
Narayana said that both Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu and the state government committee on Capital city will meet Sivaramakrishnan Committee on Saturday.
“We are in the process of identifying the best construction experts around the world for building the capital,” said the minister.
