23 bookies arrested in Khammam, raids in Hyd

Even as police busted a major spot fixing racket in Delhi, the cricketing world continues to be ruled by match fixing scandals. And people are still placing bets on the games.

According to reports, police has arrested as many as 23 bookies in Khammam district on Saturday. They were fixing the deals with Mumbai-based bookies, police said.

The police took into possession of several mobiles and huge amounts of money. The police is now conducting surprise raids in common IPL hangouts of Hyderabad too following a tip off.
