2 Tons Of Camel Meat Seized While Being Transported To Hyderabad 

Hyderabad: Over 200kg of camel meat being transported to the city from Nalgonda was seized by the police on Thursday morning.

A total of 30 camels were brought in four mini-trucks to the fields at Ukondi village in Munugodu mandal in the district on Wednesday midnight. The animals were butchered throughout the day and their meat was loaded into trucks by the evening to be transported to Hyderabad.

The police rushed to the spot after the locals alerted them about the illegal transport of camel meat and seized it. Around 30 people involved in the activity were taken into custody.
