2 Nigerians Arrested In Drug Racket

Two Nigerians were arrested at Golconda for carrying drugs - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: The task force sleuths arrested five persons including two Nigerians and seized 23 grams of cocaine from them on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested them near the Golf Course Road in Golconda, wherein the two Nigerians were there to deliver the drugs to a BTech student Idres Kaleem and his two friends.

The accused are - Bernard Wilson, Godpower Nnembubu, both Nigerians, Kaleem, Khaleel Nadeem Mir and Rukunuddin Ahmed.

Later Godpower joined Bernard and the duo started the operation in Hyderabad. They buy drugs from Charlie for Rs 3,000 a gram and sell it in Hyderabad for Rs 5,000

Kaleem's friends met Bernard at a party two months back and came to know that he sells drugs. They then purchased drugs per gram at Rs 5,000 from him and had plans to buy more cocaine from him.

DCP B. Limba Reddy said that Bernard came to India on a student visa in June this year and then moved to Bengaluru, where he met Charlie, from whom he learned the trade.

"Later Godpower joined Bernard and the duo started the operation in Hyderabad. They buy drugs from Charlie for Rs 3,000 a gram and sell it in Hyderabad for Rs 5,000," the DCP added.

They had built their network with the help of old customers and they deliver drugs at Banjara Hills, Golconda, Tolichowki and other areas in the city.
