2 held in Tirupati for extortions as cops

Two persons were taken into custody in Tirupati for resorting to extortions in the guise of police.
Police said on Thursday that the duo had committed thefts, house-breaks and collected huge amounts by threatening people as cops. About 35 two-wheelers worth Rs 18 lakhs were recovered from them.
