Fraudsters were held by cyber crime police in Delhi 

Hyderabad: Two fraudsters were held by Cyberabad cyber crime police for duping a girl to the tune of over Rs 4 lakh by promising her a fake job offer. The accused Rishab Suri (21) and Rinku Thakur (22) were nabbed from Delhi and were brought to city on a transit warrant.

The victim was asked to deposit Rs 4.6 lakh in installments for document verification and other processing fee. To make the girl believe his accomplice was sending emails under fake Deloitte email id

The victim, an engineering graduate received a call from an unknown person claiming to be a job consultant who informed that she had been selected for the post of General Manager in Deloitte.

“The victim was asked to deposit Rs 4.6 lakh in installments for document verification and other processing fee. To make the girl believe his accomplice was sending emails under fake Deloitte email id,” said Md Riyazuddin, cyber crime inspector.

The officials traced the accused at Ashok Vihar, Delhi through tracking the mobile numbers and email. The team found stamp papers of various companies and also fake letter heads of some private banks.

“The accused registered themselves as recruiters in job portal and send emails to aspirants and whenever they received a reply, they used to call and execute their plan. They trapped and cheated several innocent persons across the country and collected huge amounts,” Riyazuddin, added.
