2 Dead in Building Collapse in Chilkalguda

Hyderabad: Two people died when a dilapidated building collapsed in Chikalguda of Secunderabad on Monday evening.

The deceased have been identified as Akbar (40) and Wajid (33), both employees of a butcher shop on the ground floor of the building. Police officials stated that tenants on the first and second floors had vacated the premises several months ago. The ground floor housed a butcher shop and the duo were cleaning the premises after the working hours, when the building collapsed without warning.

The old building collapsed without warning resulting in the deaths. 

Locals with the help of the police managed to retrieve the bodies from the rubble and rushed them to hospital, where they were declared brought dead.
