Road Accident Kills 2 Ayyappa Devotees Returning From Sabarimala 

Nellore: Two Ayyappa devotees died after the van they were traveling collided with a lorry on the highway at Pannamgadu in Potti Sriramulu Nellore district on Monday morning.

The deceased, identified as Raja Rao (30) and Rahul (8) of Krishna district, were returning from Sabarimala after their pilgrimage on Saturday. About 20 devotees had hired a van for the pilgrimage. About 5-6 other passengers were injured. They are being treated at the Ponneri hospital in Tamil Nadu.
