2 arrested for supplying forged visa documents in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, The owner of an educational visa consultancy and another person have been arrested here for forging documents to get visa.
Officers of the Commissioner's Task Force (East Zone) raided the Wisdom Overseas Educational Consultancy yesterday and arrested its owner G Jayavardhan Reddy and J Gopala Swamy (an agent) who provided visa seekers with fake documents to be produced before the consulate authorities.
Police seized 16 Indian passports, forged bank statements, loan sanction letters, chartered accountant's reports and experience letters etc.
The duo charged between Rs 20,000 to Rs 40,000 to start with, and a further Rs 2 to Rs 3 lakh after the client got the visa.
