12-Year-Old Boy Kills Mother For Taking His Money

Hyderabad: A 12-year-old boy killed his mother by slitting her throat after a quarrel on Saturday night.

K. Renuka(40), a resident of Mangalhat lives with her only son in the area as her husband Srinivas died 10 years ago. She and her son used to collect scrap and sell it. As the boy was young, Renuka used to take the boy's money to keep it with her. He often quarreled with his mother that he wanted to keep his money and use it.

On Saturday, after they returned home, Renuka asked her son for the day’s earnings. An argument broke out between them when he refused to hand over the money. In a fit of rage, the boy took a knife from the kitchen and slit his mother’s throat and fled away.

Neighbors found Renuka in a pool of blood and informed police. They registered a case and are trying to nab the boy.
