10-year-old CP for Hyderabad today

Hyderabad: Ten year-old Sadik had his wish fulfilled on Wednesday when he played the Commissioner of Police to Hyderabad city.

As per reports, Sadik, who is battling a life-threatening illness, 'officiated' as the Commissioner of Police, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Hyderabad, and the CP Mahender Reddy .

"Mein sab goondon ko khatam kardoonga aur achche aadmi ki raksha karunga," (I will finish all the goons and protect the innocent)," the boy-CP said as he took 'charge'.

Sadik, dressed in khaki, complete with a cap, badge and a toy pistol in a real holster, arrived with the airs of a real CP at the Commissioner office in an official vehicle.

He received red carpet welcome by the other cops  Mahak, who wished to become a police officer, was given an opportunity by the DGP after a request from the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
