1 Dead As Bus Collides With Bike in Polavaram

Polavaram Rural (West Godavari): A bike driver lost his life when his motorbike collided with an oncoming bus that was on its way from Velpuru of Tanaku mandal to Polavaram on Friday.
Kovvuru AO, Venogopal who was on the bike lost his life at the spot of the collision while the AEO, Rambabu who was riding with him sustained serious injury.
Ten passengers who were travelling in the bus also had minor injuries. The injured were immediately shifted to the government hospital in Rajahmundry.
It is reported that the passengers on the bus were being transported to the chief minister's meeting in the area.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the accident was a result of brake failure.
