Two Killed As Car Plunges Into Canal 

Eluru: In a tragic incident, two people have been killed after the car they were travelling in plunged into a canal. The incident occurred near Thallapalem village of Nidadavolu mandal in West Godavari district on Sunday morning. The two occupants in the car died due to drowning, the police said.

The deceased have been identified as residents of Vijayawada city —Kambala Sairam and Gopichand. The accident occurred when the victims travelling from Vijayawada to Rajahmundry. A case has been registered in the regard and investigation is on.
