Telangana Govt To Regularize Outsourcing Employees In Power Firm

Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Saturday decided to regularize the services of employees of state-run power utilities who are working on outsourcing basis.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who had promised to regularize the services signed the order on Saturday. He also appreciated the efforts of the employees for supplying uninterrupted power throughout the state.

Over 20,903 employees are working in the various power utilities in the state. The employees benefited are In Transco (4,197), Genco (2,914), North Discom (4,333) and South Discom (9,459).
