Teen Shoots At Classmate In Classroom

Chandigarh: In an appalling incident, an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) student was shot at by his own classmate right inside the classroom. The incident was caught on camera installed in the classroom. It shows two boys approaching the victim from behind, while he was chatting with another student. One of the two boys then took out a country-made pistol from his bag and shot the victim in the back.

The victim was rushed to a hospital at Sonipat from where he was referred to PGIMS at Rohtak for better treatment. A preliminary investigation revealed that a small altercation between the victim and accused few days ago was responsible for the attack.

A case of attempt to murder has been registered against the absconding duo. The police are also questioning other students and the authorities concerned.
