Heavy Rains Lash Hyderabad, Inundate Roads

Hyderabad: Heavy rains once again lashed several parts of Hyderabad on Wednesday. Starting at 3 am in the morning, the continuous down pour has inundated many roads in the city. The rain caused major traffic snarls and power outrages.

Amberpet recorded 6 cm, LB Nagar and Narayanaguda 5cm, Bala Nagar, Moulali, Ramachandrapuram and Musheerabad recorded 2 cm. Due to the depression and low pressure in the south west region of Bay of Bengal and in the adjoining Odisha and Tamil Nadu, the rains will continue for two more days, according to Met officials.
