Collector Amrapali’s Adventurous Rock Climbing At Pandavula Gutta

Amrapali Kata climbs rock at the Pandavula Gutta in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Warangal Urban District Collector Amrapali Kata took a break from her hectic work to experience an adventurous rock climbing at the Pandavula Gutta in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district on Sunday. The woman IAS officer was accompanied with Warangal Urban District Forest Officer (DFO) Arpana, Bhupalpally DFO, T. Ravi Kiran.

The two-day ‘rock climbing festival’ festival was launched on Saturday by Madhusudhana Chary and Ravi Kiran. It was organized by the forest department to promote adventure tourism in the district.

The festival witnessed surge in participation by many youths. Nearly, 150 NIT students of Warangal rocked the climb and on the second day 80 students participated. Mountaineering expert Shekhar Babu Bachinepally explained the students about the various instruments and items required in rock climbing.
