`BJP' Bihar loss is due to injustice meted out to AP'
Guntur: A war of words ensued between TDP and BJP in Andhra Pradesh ever since the ruling BJP lost the Bihar election.
Firing the latest salvo is TDP leader Rayapati Sambashivarao. Sambashivarao on Monday said that BJP paid the price for treating Andhra Pradesh unfairly. The BJP led NDA Government failed to accord `special status' to the State which was promised at the time of State Reorganisation Act, he added.
Taking potshots at Modi, Sambashivarao said that the PM brought nothing but a 'handful of soil' and 'cup of water' from the Country’s capital for Amaravathi’s foundation laying ceremony.
Sambashivarao said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi must speak up on the promises he made for Andhra Pradesh during the run up to the 2014 Parliamentary elections and at the time Andhra Pradesh State Reorganisation Act.
