Elon Musk Work Timings Will Drive You Crazy
San Fransico: Tesla Founder and CEO Elon Musk believes his company would die if he does not work for more than 90 hours a week.
In a interactive chat session with the people on Twitter on Wednesday, Musk confirmed that he works more than 90 hours a week. In a reply to a Twitter user, he shared, "In recent years, hours were much higher. Don't recommend though - bad for health and happiness. But no choice or Tesla would die."
The Tesla CEO further shared the reason for the hectic amount of work citing the ramping up production of the Model 3 in the face of increasing competition from the larger, traditional car companies. However, he hopes to reduce work to to 80 hours next year.
In the past, Elon Musk had mentioned of working 120 hours in seven days to keep his Electric Vehicle (EV) company Tesla, functioning smoothly.
Currently, Elon Musk is the 80th richest person in the world with an estimated net worth of $20.1 billion and his company holds the market value worth $61 billion.
