Heavy Rain In Telangana: KCR Directs Officials To Be On Alert
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today directed the official machinery to remain alert in view of the heavy rain forecast in the coming three to four days in the state. KCR directed Chief Secretary S K Joshi to issue instructions to all officials concerned to be in their respective work place and coordinate with all the departments and take necessary steps, an official release said.
KCR further instructed the Ministers to be available in their respective districts and constantly review and monitor the situation and if necessary take up the required relief work. In view of the necessity of Ministers to camp in their respective districts, the proposed cabinet meet scheduled for tomorrow stands postponed, it said.

The Meteorological Department today warned of heavy to very heavy rain with extremely heavy rain very likely to occur at isolated places including in Nalgonda, Khammam, Warangal and Mahabubnagar districts of the state for the next three days.
It also predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers of very likely to occur at most places. Many parts of the state received heavy rains on Friday and Saturday. (PTI)
