Hyderabad Family Has No Clue Of Techie’s Whereabouts in US

Pandu Raghavendra Rao - Sakshi Post

A techie from Hyderabad has gone missing in US for nine months.

Pandu Raghavendra Rao, who completed his MTech in London had moved to California on December 26, 2011 and joined Microsoft as a software engineer. Rao had gone missing from October 21, 2017 according to his parents who said that his phone was switched off from that day.

Rao's father P. Bangaram who is a retired executive engineer has lodged a complaint with the Saidabad police who refused to take it. "As he went missing in the US, a case cannot be registered here and there is a separate NRI department to deal with such cases," a police officer said.

After the police refused to take a complaint, Bangaram has written a letter to minister of external affairs, Sushma Swaraj requesting her to trace his son in the US by taking the help of Indian Embassy in the country. "We have also contacted his sons but we did not get any information from them," Rao's father wailed.
