Paper Boy Stabs Old Woman

In a shocking incident, a paper boy tried to rob an old woman and stabbed her in the process on Saturday morning.The incident happened in Proddatur of YSR Kadapa district.

According to the police, the paper boy knocked the door of Savitramma, who was alone in the house as her husband Subbaiah went out for a morning walk. Finding her alone, he stabbed her and took away cash of Rs 10000 from the almyrah. He also dragged an LPG cylinder from the kitchen and tried to leak it. However, he didn't have a matchbox.

Meanwhile, Savitramma gathered her wits and began shouting. As the neighbours were alerted, the boy scooted away. The woman is now hospitalised.
