Rumors Over Ram Pothineni’s Double Ismart Pay Issues

Ram Pothineni’s Ismart Shankar is the biggest hit in his career. He is doing its sequel with director Puri Jagannadh. The duo has been working together for the past 18 months.

The film is still in the production stage. There is no news about its release date. 

There is a rumour doing the rounds that Double Ismart has been halted due to differences over remuneration issues.  

However, there is no clarity on this yet. Ram Pothineni took only a token advance amount at the time of starting the venture. He has almost completed the project. 

Double Ismart has been halted due to the ongoing dull phase in the film industry in general. Ram is okay to work on a profit-sharing basis with the aim of reducing the producer's burden. 

The makers of the movie are trying for a financier who will help them finish the pending shoot. Most of the shoot has been completed barring a couple of songs. Ram is ready to rejoin the shoot once the makers sort out their issues.
