 - Sakshi Post

New Delhi: Central Bureau of Investigation has served fresh summons to the BRS MLC K Kavitha, who is the daughter of Telangana’s chief minister KCR, in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case, according to sources.

Kavitha has been asked to appear before the central investigation team at the CBI headquarters here on Monday, February 26. In December 2022, a six-member CBI team, including a woman official, had recorded her statement at her residence in Hyderabad.

Earlier this month, Enforcement Directorate (ED) had apprised the Supreme Court that the BRS MLC is avoiding the summons issued to her by the anti-money laundering agency in the Delhi excise policy case.

Earlier, Kavitha was issued summons by ED asking her to appear before it in Delhi on January 16. She was earlier questioned by the ED in the case on March 11, 20 and 21, last year.
