Actors Siddharth and Aditi Rao Hydari have officially announced their engagement. The couple shared the news on Thursday through Instagram posts, putting an end to earlier rumours that they had secretly married. Siddharth posted a photo with the caption, "She said yes! ❤ E.N.G.A.G.E.D. 💫", Aditi shared the same picture, writing, "He Said YES! ❤ E.N.G.A.G.E.D 💫". The location tagged in their posts was Srirangapuram, near Wanaparthy, where reports of their alleged wedding had also emerged.
The engagement announcement came as a surprise to fans who had speculated that the couple had already tied the knot earlier this week. However, Aditi and Siddharth chose not to address those rumours until their official announcement.
Aditi and Siddharth's relationship is said to have blossomed during the filming of their 2021 movie, Maha Samudram. Throughout their relationship, they have shared affectionate social media posts, but never explicitly confirmed their romantic involvement until now.
In a 2023 Instagram post, Siddharth referred to Aditi as his "partner,"fueling rumours about their relationship status. Both Aditi and Siddharth have been previously married. Aditi was previously married to actor Satyadeep Mishra, who later married Masaba Gupta in 2023. Siddharth was previously married to a woman named Meghna, but that marriage lasted only four years.
