Suriya Joins Forces with 'Jigarthanda' Genius for Explosive New Collab

Tamil superstar Suriya announced his 44th film project on Thursday, March 28. He unveiled the exciting collaboration with director Karthik Subbaraj, best known for movies like 'Jigarthanda' and 'Double X'. The untitled film, tentatively called 'Suriya 44', will be co-produced by Subbaraj's Stone Bench Films and Suriya's 2D Entertainment.

The actor shared the first-look poster for 'Suriya 44' on social media. It features a car crash and an arrow pierced through a tree, along with the tagline 'Love Laughter War'. Suriya captioned the poster, "New beginnings. Need all your good wishes."

While fans eagerly await details about 'Suriya 44', the actor has another big-budget release lined up. The pan-India film 'Kanguva', directed by Siruthai Siva, is a gory period drama made on a massive budget of over Rs 300 crore. It marks the South debut of Bollywood actor Bobby Deol and also features Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, and others in supporting roles.
