Bollywood's highly anticipated Ramayana project has secured the talents of two Oscar-winning music directors, AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer. The film, helmed by acclaimed director Nitesh Tiwari, has already generated immense excitement with its star-studded cast.

Versatile actor Ranbir Kapoor has been tapped to portray the role of Lord Ram, while Yash will bring the Ravana character to life on the silver screen. Talented South Indian actress Sai Pallavi will essay the role of the divine Sita.

The addition of AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer to the project's music team is a true coup. Rahman, the celebrated composer behind the captivating scores of films like Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours, will lend his musical genius to the Ramayana saga. Joining him is the legendary Hans Zimmer, whose iconic work spans blockbusters such as Dune, the Dark Knight trilogy, Gladiator, and The Lion King.

For Zimmer, this will mark his first foray into an Indian film. The producers are determined to present Indian cinema on a global stage, ensuring that the Ramayana adaptation sets new benchmarks.

Tiwari, known for his directorial prowess in films like Dangal, is spearheading the Ramayana project, which is planned as a trilogy. The team has already commenced shooting for the first part, with Sunny Deol portraying the role of Lord Hanuman and Lara Dutta and Rakul Preet Singh taking on the roles of Kaikeyi and Shurpanakha, respectively.

The official announcement of the Ramayana project is scheduled to coincide with the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami on April 17. Fans eagerly await the unveiling of this ambitious and star-studded adaptation of the epic Hindu tale.
