CM Jagan calls out TDP’s hypocrisy for opposing Land Titling Act while endorsing in assembly session: CM Jagan

Opposition alliance is spreading fake propaganda to undermine YSRCP: CM Jagan

Chandrababu has a history of deceiving people and their trust: CM Jagan

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has called out the hypocrisy of Chandrababu Naidu for running a fake campaign against Land Titling Act which was endorsed by his partymen during the assembly session while addressing the people in Machilipatnam on Monday.

“TDP’s Payyavula Keshav in the assembly described the act as a beneficial step and I urge Chandrababu Naidu to review the records. Despite the ETV channel's reputation for disseminating misinformation, it aired programs highlighting the Act's advantages which benefits the farmers. But they removed this archived content from YouTube and continue to spread falsehood,” said Chief Minister Jagan.

“Over 17,000 revenue villages are being resurveyed and we have deployed 15,000 surveyors along with the installation of rovers. Through GPS technology, boundary stones have been positioned. The total cost for implementation amounts to Rs. 2000 crore. We have completed 6,000 villages so far out of the 17,000 villages in the last 2 years, and we shall complete the rest of the villages and update the records,” Chief Minister added.

"In the 6,000 villages where the resurvey has been conducted, has any farmer lodged a complaint regarding a land dispute?" asked CM Jagan while taking a dig at vested interest regional media to inquire into it.

Noting that they are running fake narrative through IVRS calls, he said, "I don't think the opposition parties truly understand the act which grant farmers and landowners permanent rights to their land. People are hesitant to engage in buying or selling land due to various issues such as discrepancies in land dimensions, lack of proper subdivision, failure to update records, and missing mutations.”

"In the event of any disputes arising after the survey, the government will provide compensation with the help of title insurance. Efforts are underway to incorporate this provision into the act,” said Chief Minister Jagan.

CM Jagan further said, “The opposition has also run a fake campaign by accusing YSRCP for smuggling drugs worth Rs 2 lakh crore when the container was caught in Vizag port few months back and it was propagated by vested interest regional media. However, the investigation revealed that the container in question belonged to the relatives of Chandrababu Naidu’s sister-in-law (BJP Chief Purandeswari). Since then, there is no news over the container.

The opposition has also circulated rumours on widespread sale of Ganja at Kirana stores throughout the state. "Both Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan are spreading these false claims. I urge you to respond vehemently to them through your votes. They fail to understand the repercussions of disseminating such misleading propaganda,” said Chief Minister Jagan.

The opposition alliance led by Chandrababu Naidu have reached a new low by acting against the ongoing schemes that have been efficiently distributed through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) by writing to the election commission and transferring the officials, said the Chief Minister Jagan.

“Kurukshetra war is going to happen in a week. If you vote for Jagan in this election, all the schemes will continue. If you vote for Chandrababu, it will be the end of the schemes. The upcoming election is not to elect MPs and MLAs but for continuation of the welfare schemes,” said Chief Minister Jagan during the election campaign meeting at Repalle in Bapatla district.

Chandrababu has a history of deceiving the people and their trust, said CM Jagan, while noting that TDP’s manifesto is filled with impossible promises.

“In the last 59 months, we have changed the history of the past by directly depositing the financial assistance into the bank accounts without any discrimination or bribes. Have you ever seen such schemes or benefits in the past,” CM Jagan asked the crowd.

Highlighting the revolutionary measures brought in by the YSRCP government, CM Jagan said, “We have provided 2.30 lakh government jobs and 99% of the promises made in the manifesto have been implemented. In the Education sector, we have renovated schools and introduced English medium with bilingual textbooks, digital teaching in every classroom from 6th standard, Tabs for 8th standard students, TOEFL classes, and IB curriculum amongst others.”

The Chief Minister also explained the benefits of Gorumudda in schools, Amma Vodi to encourage the mothers to send their wards to school which has never happened in the history of the state.

Listing out other welfare schemes implemented by YSRCP, he said, “Schemes like Asara, Sunnavaddi, Cheyutha, Kapu Nestam, EBC Nestam empowered the people along with distribution of 31 lakh house title deeds and out of which 22 lakh houses are under construction came.”

From Rs.3000 pension, delivery of services at the doorstep, farmer assurance, free crop insurance, input subsidy to quality free electricity for 9 hours during the day, RBK system to help farmers, no other government in the past have hand-hold the farmers like YSRCP, said Chief Minister Jagan.

Explaining the schemes implemented in the Health Sector, CM Jagan said, “No poor person should get into debt in terms of medical needs and the government has implemented free Arogyashri health insurance with a limit of Rs 25 lakhs, Arogya Asara for post-surgery needs, village clinics, family doctor concept to help the people at their doorstep.”

The Chief Minister also talked about the 600 types of services available at the village and ward secretariats. “A volunteer arrangement for every 60-70 households. Pension, civil services, and schemes that come to the home without bribes and discrimination, all this happened in our current administration along with Mahila police at the village, Disha App, digital libraries under construction,  ” said Chief Minister Jagan.

Chief Minister Jagan highlighted the failures of Chandrababu who claimed to be a Chief Minister for three terms over 14 years. “I am asking thousands of my brothers, sisters, and grandparents who are present here if you mention the name of Chandrababu, will any poor person remember one good thing he did?”

“If our state is a crop field... you have given the responsibility of cultivating the field to a farmer named Jagan. In the last 5 years, I have cultivated the seeds of progress, yielding a harvest of development, welfare, and a brighter future for every household. Over the next 15 years, you will witness these crops mature into strong trees, reshaping the destinies of the poor,” said Chief Minister Jagan.

“Children will come out of schools and colleges with quality education which would change their lives. If a poor person completes his/her degree with 25% curriculum from Stanford or Harvard, completes schooling with IB syllabus in the next 15 years, and comes out with certificates, and if that child applies for a job speaking English fluently... then poverty will disappear,” said CM Jagan.

The Chief Minister also showcased the failed promises of Chandrababu and TDP’s 2014 manifesto pamphlet and asked the crowd whether he implemented any of the mentioned promises. “He promised farm loan waiver of Rs.87,612 crore, waiving of saving society loans worth Rs.14,205 crore, Rs 25,000 deposit if a girl child is born in the state under Mahalakshmi scheme. He didn’t deposit even a single rupee.”

“Unemployment benefit of Rs. 2,000 per month was the promise he gave to every household. Did he give Rs.1.20 lakh to each house at the rate of Rs.2 thousand per month for 5 years?” asked Chief Minister Jagan.

“Special Category Status for Andhra, 3 cents of land for eligible people, BC sub plan with Rs. 10,000 crores, waive of the loans of handloom and power loom weavers, Women Protection Force, develop the state beyond Singapore, hi-tech city in every district but not even single scheme was implemented by Chandrababu Naid,” said CM Jagan.

“But again, Chandrababu is back with Super Six promises. Do you believe it?” asked CM Jagan while asking the people to vote for the YSRCP Fan symbol.

“Do you want volunteers to come to your house again to deliver pension? Should there be a government without bribes and discrimination? For all this to happen, you have to press two buttons on the fan symbol and make YSRCP win all 175 assembly seats and 25 MP seats,” said CM Jagan.

Addressing the people at Macherla, CM Jagan said, “Unlike Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP, YSRCP treated the manifesto as Bible, Bhagavad Gita and Quran and fulfilled 99% percent of the promises in last 59 months.”
